Its hard to imagine the Mariners scoring more than 2 runs against anyone with that line-up, but some how they do it against us. One positive in that game is that Greinke is up near 90 pitches just in the 4th

We had our chance to win the game when Elvis was up with the bases loaded. Way too many runners left stranded in scoring position burns us again. Gonna need a great outing from Perez tomorrow night, especially with the bullpen having been used so much tonight.

Yeah, I just really don't understand why Wash would let Mark Lowe pitch in any kind of important situation. Did he not learn his lesson from the World Series or the multiple other times he failed? Why pitch your worst pitcher in a series with the division title on the line?

This loss falls mostly on the hitting though. 9 straight innings of scoreless baseball once again. We just flat-out can't hit. We had a brief glimpse of hitting for the first 3 hitters tonight, then it was right back to pop out after pop out with the occasional 1 hit per inning thrown in. And just a sickening amount of stranded runners in scoring position.

Th whole offense has been a big bag of fail for awhile now. And just in time for the playoffs.

And bringing Lowe into a high leverage situation is all on Wash. But he's dumb as a box of hammers so no shock there.

This team hasn't clinched anything yet, and the offense looks like July. And we're counting on Martin Perez with a thin bullpen to get a win tomorrow.

If we drop these next 2... I won't even go there.
