Self-proclaimed Asshole
Same here. We needed it but enough is enough
Last time I cursed the rain we had a 5 year drought.

Thats where I would play him in all his rehab games. Get him lots of chances there and see how he does at 2B when he is back from injury. Should be serviceable on defense and will bring a lot more with the bat than Field and Rosales

Something is not right in Houston.Anibal Sanchez is stinking it up this year, Astros already up 3-0 on Detroit

Yeah, they're actually pretty good, and that could pose a problem. They have a young club and their young starting pitching looks like theyve learned to pitch at the ML level. They added a couple bats in the offseason and upgraded their BP. I still think they come back to earth some this season but they will be good for several years with their prospects coming as well
First week to 10 days was pretty rough, may have had something to do with the shitty April. Gotta play all the ones on the schedule though, just pitch and hit the ball better than the other team and hope that is enough

Hay will be cheap and much will be madeSo you're the one.
I heard a few days ago, if it didn't rain another drop in the DFW area for the rest of the year, we'd have the 7th wettest year on record. And it's rained quite hard, twice since then.

Yeah, and we're gonna have mosquito's the size of toasters too.
Understood.
And if you do both of those things, then any team should win most of the time, wouldn't ya think? haha
Babip, umpires like Kulpa's sorry ass the other night, and just plain bad luck factor in some games. Its not often, but a team can hit and pitch better and lose a few from time to time, IMO

I'll take better pitching/hitting and let the other team have all the poor umpiring, luck/fate/bad bounces, etc. and we'll see ya in the playoffs, if not WS IMO.
I contacted MLB last year about the state of umpiring in our beloved game and was told flatly, "you'll have to take that up with the Umpires. They have their own union and representatives and we only - negotiate - with them."
Ain't that a note? And guys like Joe West and Kulpa should've been terminated long before now.
Add Angel Hernandez to that list as well. Just another example of unions being good for nothing except promoting mediocrity.
Actually, if I had to rank these guys on the "Worthless Scale" it'd be (1) West (2) Hernandez (3) Kulpa. Until someone else brings up another worthy candidate I've forgotten.
