What happens if one of the players waived by the Angels doesn't want to go to a team that wants him?

I wasn't sure if I was reading correctly but if they have more than 3 years they can reject it and forfeit their salary and opt for free agency.

The mistake by the Rangers as a whole was so blatantly obvious that I am just dumbfounded.

I think FO blew it.

Unfortunately it happens sometimes you win sometimes you lose. We lost Ragens but we got Chapman. There will other trades that we won’t like because we liked a player or players that we trade but that’s the nature of the sport

I think it was less underachieving and more the Rangers not using him right from the time ST started until he was traded. He didn't become as good as he is until this past offseason. He was poised to become a good starting pitcher and the Rangers decided "no thanks" we will just make him a reliever.

It has absolutely nothing to do with the trade. It is not about losing the trade.

It is about the team's stupidity from ST on with Ragans.

The trade was an inevitable byproduct of that stupidity.

Not if they want the player. They would not risk that.

I think that only comes into play when trying to send the waiver claimed player to the minors.

Hi perephials got worse though. An over jumpstart to contention short changing development is a bad shortcut. But still point is maybe KC fixed him more while Rangers could not. That is what needs to be looked at
