Congrats on the sweep later today
Not sure about that. The last three times we had a chance at a sweep our offense mailed it in.Congrats on the sweep later today
and worse than they mailed it in the last 2 winsNot sure about that. The last three times we had a chance at a sweep our offense mailed it in.

I don't think anyone can out-mail-in the Mets right now.and worse than they mailed it in the last 2 wins
we've triedI don't think anyone can out-mail-in the Mets right now.
I imagine he forfeits his salary. What happens if one of the players waived by the Angels doesn't want to go to a team that wants him?
He actually has been producing for us in the last month or so.Garver is starting to do well even as a DH. 4 of his last 5 HR have come when he was the DH.
I wasn't sure if I was reading correctly but if they have more than 3 years they can reject it and forfeit their salary and opt for free agency.I imagine he forfeits his salary.
The mistake by the Rangers as a whole was so blatantly obvious that I am just dumbfounded.if a guy like Cole can do what he does with KC and underachieve with rangers then
It should at least cause pause with the Rangers and their pitcher development program/strategy in now they use them especially those who go from SP to pen
Unfortunately it happens sometimes you win sometimes you lose. We lost Ragens but we got Chapman. There will other trades that we won’t like because we liked a player or players that we trade but that’s the nature of the sportI think FO blew it.
Doubt any team will claim them and pick their remaining contract that would relieve the Angels of that. Teams will wait until they clear waivers that way the Angels get nothingI imagine he forfeits his salary.
I think it was less underachieving and more the Rangers not using him right from the time ST started until he was traded. He didn't become as good as he is until this past offseason. He was poised to become a good starting pitcher and the Rangers decided "no thanks" we will just make him a reliever.if a guy like Cole can do what he does with KC and underachieve with rangers then

It has absolutely nothing to do with the trade. It is not about losing the trade.Unfortunately it happens sometimes you win sometimes you lose. We lost Ragens but we got Chapman. Not if they want the player. They would not risk that.Doubt any team will claim them and pick their remaining contract that would relieve the Angels of that. Teams will wait until they clear waivers that way the Angels get nothing
I think that only comes into play when trying to send the waiver claimed player to the minors.I wasn't sure if I was reading correctly but if they have more than 3 years they can reject it and forfeit their salary and opt for free agency.
Hi perephials got worse though. An over jumpstart to contention short changing development is a bad shortcut. But still point is maybe KC fixed him more while Rangers could not. That is what needs to be looked atI think it was less underachieving and more the Rangers not using him right from the time ST started until he was traded. He didn't become as good as he is until this past offseason. He was poised to become a good starting pitcher and the Rangers decided "no thanks" we will just make him a reliever.
