They are flipping them and now Miller is an every day starter. But they usually pinch hit at least Smith does

To me Smith needs to develop a little more strength or try to just be a gap hitter

His numbers I mentioned earlier, when he played every day, are good enough to start every day to me. His numbers as a part time guy are terrible. I doubt they would always be that bad. I don't think we will find out what his every day numbers will look like unless it is with another team.

I would let Duran replace Culberson
I would let Smith replace Miller
I wouldn’t mind Duran and Smith on the bench but rotating through and still getting 300 AB each.
Fill in for injuries or possible under performance
Never seen 9 guys get 650 plate appearances and those 9 guys were all that were used during a 162 game season.
It takes a whole team

the avg position player gets between 3.3 - 3.5 AB's per game so Duran and Smith both would have to play 86 to 91 complete games to accumulate 300 AB's next season. i 've never seen 9 guys on one team get 650 AB's during a 162-game season either but i would expect at least 4 or 5 to reach 625 to 650 on this team next season in Semien, Seager, Garcia, and probably Lowe and Heim should come close.

I like what he’s doing so far. He hasn’t even barreled up one ball yet either.. he has it in him and I think it will happen soon.. he’ll start hitting with more authority soon.. imo..
Nice to see him, Leody and Adolis patrolling the outfield. Like having 3 CF. Elite defense and speed.

Defensively and on base Bubba is elite. Just think he has and some issues with off speed and breaking stuff

Like his speed on the bases too. He has too much talent to not make this team.

I really think long term our OF is Harris, Carter, and Zavala. Unless they move Foscue to the OF. Eventually Morrobel and Guitterez may have something to say about it though.
