Ok here is the converse A max effort pitcher throwing 97 plus only using his best two pitches may do better as a reliever instead of a lower mph FB startingNo, but I have heard that line of thought before, lots of times. Perez and Gray could probably be great 2 inning relievers too. Starting pitchers are just more valuable than relief pitchers, at least that kind of relief pitcher.
Going oppo with the pitch shows much improvement from last year.Nate Lowe ain't going anywhere.
Lol at the prior injury keeping him from getting stretched out at some point this year. We have had lots of pitchers with prior injuries and they never had to work in relief for a year before going back to the rotation. How long are they going to milk that old injury as an excuse anyway?Ok here is the converse A max effort pitcher throwing 97 plus only using his best two pitches may do better as a reliever instead of a lower mph FB starting
Now this was the first time it was reported Burke showed interest in starting next season and personally I am not opposed to that at all and agree if effective he would be a lot more valuable a starter. His prior injury was mentioned alluding to why he did not get stretched out this year
Glad to hear his interest. Maybe this will finally get reported in print
Looks like this ticks you off like they are definitely doing something foolish.Lol at the prior injury keeping him from getting stretched out at some point this year. In general If we're moving pieces for starting pitching (which I'd totally support) I'd rather move prospects rather than a hitter with an 800+ OPS and batting average near 300 with four(?) years of team control.Going oppo with the pitch shows much improvement from last year.
He looks like a DH part time 1B to me. He lookes good
I bet other teams interest will be rising regardless
Would we move him for starting pitching? Seems like Miami has an abundance
We should have went out and drafted the Hispanic Titanic for 1B lol.Going oppo with the pitch shows much improvement from last year.

Who?We should have went out and drafted the Hispanic Titanic for 1B lol.
And keep Lowe as. DH? HaWe should have went out and drafted the Hispanic Titanic for 1B lol.
Seems infield defense is a big struggleThis game is a good one to identify some of the problems Beas or the next mgr has to deal with.
I would move Lowe and put someone at DH who could play in the field in maybe 2 or 3 different positions. If Foscue learns another position then him and Duran would both make a good DH that could play in the field when others need a rest. And keep Lowe as. DH? Ha
I think the last 3 seasons have been that way. This game is a good one to identify some of the problems Beas or the next mgr has to deal with.
I don't think those guys are related.Melendez from UT. Brother of the KC rookie who led the minors in HRs last year
@DTC had a man crush on him last year lol
Confession. I wanted him too
