This team would be a lot better, as far as preparing for the future, if Solak and Ibanez were here instead of Calhoun and Miller. Solak and Ibanez would be on the bench most nights, where bench players belong.

Something strange is going on.
1.Beas knows the kids need the time. No doubt!
2.CY certainly knows the same.
3. So why do the vets continue to play? Very strange!!
4. Leaves only the owners and if that is true, why?

All just signs of a bad organization

Correct but why is it not the case? CY is now the man in charge so he can now be held accountable.

Been holding back

Well we finally get a decent set of prospects to look at in a 100% rebuild year. It’s late august and you are miles away even from a WC spot

And you are going to let these prospects rot away or bat last in the lineup even if one looks like he is a legit MLB starter in the future

I can care less if you want to get some unity conformity and structure after games of many defensive errors

This show me the manager has zero foresight to building a winning team and he is inviting backlash.

This is sorry and he is not building the best lineup but plays his guys he likes in the locker room.

Good a reason as any. Sorry to say. Someone is responsible and it starts with the mgr but that can be corrected and isn't. Again, why? Puts mgr and Pres on same page.

A lot of folks seem to be sold on Lowe, Heim, Adolis, and Taveras. We all seem to be in agreement on Jung. For those sold on those first four, will a good LF and a good DH give us a WS caliber lineup?

Depends on several things. Rotation and BP is one. Add a 1B and Lowe to DH is another. Then maybe.

Yeah, that's how I feel. Going forward, to me, it is Seager, Semien and Jung that I am satisfied with. The other six are still to be decided.
In agreement but Seager and Semien both need to pick it up.

Tough question.

Because when everything is clicking, then yes, that lineup could hang with anyone. The problem is, there isn't anyone in the lineup - anyone - who clicks on a regular basis. Lowe might get the closest.

Good point. Some time back consistency was discussed. Think how many games could have been won had they been more consistant. Remember? " When they are good, they are very good but when they are bad, they are horrid."

Taveras
Semien
Seager
Lowe
DH
Garcia
Jung
Heim
LF

That line could do some absolute damage on a good night.
