A lot of folks seem to be sold on Lowe, Heim, Adolis, and Taveras. We all seem to be in agreement on Jung. For those sold on those first four, will a good LF and a good DH give us a WS caliber lineup?
I like Lowes bat. His glove, not so much.

Lowe

Jung

That line could do some absolute damage on a good night.
that's close to the lineup i posted earlier but i had Garver as the DH and Bubba & Eli in LF for next season. and then we re-sign Perez and a couple BP arms

1. We are far away from anything and need pitching including a closer
2. All these and more it would be reasonable to upgrade are trade one for pitching
3. Not sure you can get a better hitter for Lowe. He looks to be improving and is a winning piece
4 w hope Leody has not peaked
5 as we get closer we upgrade.

He was specifically speaking about the lineup, not pitching

More today from Scott:

Kyle Cody improved his fastball velocity to 93-95 and mixed in more changes than sliders. One slider became Eguy Rosario's 20th homer. Cody can become a free agent after the season if not added to the 40.

that lineup doesn't do much damage.
that lineup with Calhoun, Miller & Culberson is scoring runs at #14 in baseball and we get rid of those 3 and add Jung & Garver (who i believe will hit better next season after his surgery) and we could improve to 9 to 12. re-sign Perez and a FA starter plus a real closer and at least one quality BP arm and we'll see our RA (which is #20 right now) probably drop putting us around 10 to 15. it won't get us in the WS but we could make a WC run with a won-lost record around 85-77 next season. and then 2024 we move on from 2 or 3 of them and add some

Garver may bat .184 next year on the rebound

i thought it was last Wednesday

No it's this Wednesday because before I saw that, I thought he might be up last weekend and then realized there was no way he would be up before the date to acquire a draft pick.

and we won't know that until we see it. he and the Rangers tried to pretend that his hitting wasn't affected by the injury but a blindman could see he wasn't right at the plate. we aren't going to compete next year, and he has 1 year of arbitration left and he won't get much over what he made this year. plus we can't release him until next year anyway.

Gray has been really good for the last month or so.

Taveras hit it on the nose but right at the 2nd baseman.

He can be pretty solid which is why I wanted to sign him to a couple year deal in the offseason. He ultimately got 3 but looking at where we are maybe the extra year wouldn't have been so bad. Would have rather had a TORP which is why I wasn't upset they passed, until we signed Gray anyway.

Not a lot of punch so far tonight

My memory aint what it used to be but I have found myself, trying to recall the last time they really jumped on a team early and got 5-6 runs before the 5th or 6th inning. Heck, I would just like to see 2-3 hits before the 5th or 6th, not even runs
