Right but at this point in time not much loss.He needs AB's and playing time. Or catch and rest Heim. He needs rest imo.

i agree but some feel that Heim should take a seat next to Miller and Culberson and not be seen again forgetting that most of the season he was one of the better offensive catchers playing. unfortunately, management decided to over work him and now he's worn down

If Huff gets 2 out 3 starts going forward that seems right to me. Either one can pinch hit

When’s the last time a catcher got injured middle of game and had to leave. How often does it happen? How much does it really matter? May ruin 1-2 AB at most over the course of a full season.

Agreed. It hardly ever happens. Even if it did, we change pitchers so often that we could have PH as DH. Lol

Yeah it is just kind of weird first gsme uo he does not start. Hopefully that changes. If not it speaks of Beasley

Regardless I really doubt if Viloria is on the roster and unless overwhelmed in a trade I doubt if Huff is moved. Might as well play the waiting game

That is on the manager and Miller has disappeared too and Solak not one AB. Manger wants a contract it appears and Kole seems to own him. I don’t know.
I just want to see what Huff has and Jung is starting to slump. Rather bring him up at the top of his game

Solak shouldn't have been brought up. Jung is slumping but i would rather see him than Miller or Solak or Culberson or even Calhoun. none of them has any future with this team beyond October 5th while Jung is already written in at 3rd for next season and beyond

Solak shouldn't have been brought up. Jung is slumping but i would rather see him than Miller or Solak or Culberson or even Calhoun. none of them has any future with this team beyond October 5th while Jung is already written in at 3rd for next season and beyond

How about this? If Heim, Lowe or Calhoun don't get hurt, how many at bats does Huff get over the last 29 games. I will say in the 30 range. Anything less than 50ish is definitely bench player range isn't it?
