Grienke would be a Ranger if the Dodgers didn't have eleventy billion dollars to work with. They can afford to overpay anyone they want. And ask Carlos Quintin or the Dbacks about Grienke's edge. He's no shrinking violet.

Greinke got his money and also got a one sided contract where he can opt out somewhere in the middle. I bet that was one of the things that made Texas not go all out for him and he used Texas and the Angels leverage because he knew the Dodgers would pay whatever they needed to land him.

I was saying garza lol

They're hoping someone will bite. I hope it's not Texas. I like Rios in general but you can add offensive guys that are not big names but still change a make up of an offense by plate approach, walks, timely hits etc. And coming from a bad team to a contender will energize any player.

It will be interesting to see how the market develops. I feel any of rios, Byrd, or Soriano would improve the team.

and it will energize our guys as well

I'd like Rios, but I'll take anything solid

Cargo for Garcia, Gentry, Sardinas, and one more. Not good enough I know, but preliminary.

Byrd I welcome because he's a good clubhouse guy and solid player that shouldn't cost very much.

Interesting. And we still have Odor at MB and plenty of prospects at Hickory and below A ball.

I really hope Garza pitches great for the Rangers. Just think we overpaid.

What I am really looking forward to is the trade for a COF that moves Murphy out of the lineup and back to the bench. Now that would move my meter!
