So apparently the Rangers are listening in on everyone including Elvis. Not really shocking....since it is that time of year...but makes you wonder.

Heard that myself, but not sure how serious that is. Also Philly sent an outfielder back to AAA to make room for new third baseman that was SUPPOSE to push out Michael Young. So doesn't really look like trade coming for Young here. He may just have been pushed to the bench there.

No idea. To get talent you have to give talent. As much as I like elvis or profar, there simply isn't room for both of them. So it makes sense that JD would try to get the best possible bat he could by trading a player that is expendable at the moment

Andrus would be quite a surprise. That's the luxury of having Profar.

If Detroit really thinks Peralta is going to be suspended, they need a shortstop (I understand they have absolutely no one to take Peralta's place). So, not crazy if they are asking. Can we get a big hitter or two for Andrus?
