Series Thread: Rangers to clip the Cardinals in St. Louis 6/17-6/19

I missed the game today and looked in a couple of time. Once we were down 3-0 and then 3-2 in the 8th. I really cannot believe when I saw we won 4-3. What is going on with this team?

Praise, yes. But they keep bringing up how odd it is for Diekman to be pitching and how he only has 1 prior save... like it's so strange for a setup man to be closing.

I would of liked to hear their options. If they knew our team they would know it would come down to him as we need to lay off of Bush and it was good to give Dyson a day off.

I've been hearing nothing but praise. I've actually enjoyed these two.

I got tired of hem not knowing our team. Not sure if they are STL guys or what, but they had plenty to say about STL and nothing about Texas. When they did say something, it was stupid.

Really, that's just another version of watching the standings. Rangers fans, more than any other fanbase, know how quickly things can go south, so I think we all have some sort of paranoia when it comes to them. Right now, I'm just focused on being damn impressed that they've got the best record in franchise history after 69 games.

I think they will eventually run into some adversity or a bit of a cold streak where things start to look a bit bleak. The season's just too long for it not to happen to every team (even the Cubs). But this team is just so talented that I think that whatever adversity awaits them will be fairly short-lived and not majorly detrimental. The fact that they can win in a multitude of ways bodes very well for their long-term chances.

They have a solid club and minus injury, it all bodes well. We will get pen help at the break either from our own and/or trade. If Yu comes back strong they is all what we wanted with really elite SP. we have good players who really need to play. If we could only get the Prince factor figured out.

I recorded the game because I had some social obligations today...... Man that comeback was a thing of beauty. Can anyone say OH-VER-RATED? Every time the announcers started gushing about the cardinals greatness, we made them look like idiots.

The china man reliever in the 8th inning got knocked around pretty good, the Cardinals closer failed to record a single out, and the last pitcher couldn't stop the bleeding. It felt good to see the Cardinals fans get their hopes up and we crush their hopes and dreams. I hope the Cubs win today and the Cardinals lose another game in the standings. Normally, I just want to win series, but I want to sweep these fuckers so bad tomorrow. I'll admit, the troll got under my skin a bit, but I view his antics in the same way as the " bat flip". Winning the game should be enough, you should feel no need to rub people's faces in it.
