Given our challenges with middle and long relief, wonder if JD has Olendorf, Cotts and Frasor on speed dial. Seems Jason fell off the face of the earth since his release last year. Is he done or on someone's long DL?

I still think 2 quality relievers are necessary from somewhere? Shades of last years BP issues

Our set up 7 in and 8 in and closer are great. As long as their arms don't fall off. Getting to the 7th is shaky business as is our hold relief when we have a 3+ run lead. Yeah we need some consistency there.

I'm also worried we did not see Deikman at all this series. Might have missed it but don't think so.

He pitched the 8th after Texas went up 6-2.

Ramos is who he is and has a place out there probably. Faulkner is not ready. I have concerns about Barnette over the entire season, and Bush won't hold up all year having the workload he has gotten the last 3 weeks. Claudio is best in a specialist role probably, but really not ready either. Given all the talent we have move MM for an arm and there are 2-3 tier prospects that likely fetch you another reliever from a non contender. JD will do what is necessary just hope Jeff doesnt fuck it up.

So, Kipnis reminds me a lot of Odor except better in every imaginable way.

Yeah you keep selling that, and Bautista would definitely disagree w that about Odor's right hand. Fun series though Slinky, good luck until next time.

I just finished the game. I see that profar made a good play to score on the sac fly and in doing so, the banny rooster will think Fielder is an RBI machine and put him on the lineup card for another 2 weeks. I said " wtf?" When Hoying came into the game and hit for Rua. That was just retarded. It's not all about leftie vs. righty rooster, or maybe he put Hoying in to give his local fan base a chance to see him get a game winning hit. Either way, it was fucking dumb and should not have happened. I'm over it now......good series!

I think Dyson and Diekman will be fine but Bush not so much. Banister needs to quit being such an idiot when putting his main 7-9 BP guys in a game that is in good shape. Not sure if he is managing scared even though that did not stop him from putting Tolleson in over and over to lose or blow a game. Needs to save those guys for when there really is a time for them to be brought into a game.

Where is Brocail in all this? Should he not do a little advising?

Maybe that's why Mad dog left...maybe he was not happy with how Jeff was working guys so they had a parting of ways?
