I think with Smith, Duran and Harris all destined for the OF, that it might be wise to get something for Calhoun at the deadline. Foscue might need a corner spot too.

Jamey Newberg mentioned once that in 2024 the 6'4" Seagar could slide to 1B and Semien could move to DH. That would easily allow Smith or Acuna to go to SS and Foscue to go to 2B, with Crim at DH.

I wouldn't refer to it as "dropping" them. Kole should bring back something in trade.

Garcia is in a completely different category than Kole, to me. He is under control for awhile. He may still have a place here for awhile.

i agree we either trade him (don't know who fills the void in the OF) or at the end of the season we don't pick up his club option or we pick up his option play him in RF next season and either trade him at the 2023 trade deadline or he moves on at the end of the 2023 season

he's cooled off a little, but he also has had good success against the M's. might be enough for @DT LUNA to make the call.
