If what jeff wilson is saying is right. About us looking at a relief pitcher along with lucroy. Does this mean we make another seperate deal for a starter?

Who was that moron at ESPN who just assumed that the Astros would pass us with ease? I know it was written in the last 5 days or so. I forget.

Been firing back at some twitter hack who about a week ago was gloating about how hot the Astros have been and how close they are to taking the West back. I replied something like "so what i hear is they are hot with an easy schedule, and still out of the playoffs". They were 2.5 back and .5 back in WC. A few days later he replied to me, and I've hit him the last couple of days with troll replies

Been thinking all day we are going to hear a Gallo for someone swap. I don't think it was really just needing rest for him, as to why he didn't play.

I figured it was because they were tired of those god awful at bats.

That didn't help him, but if that were the case why would they not already have shipped him back to AAA? He was called up to get playing time, and if they already don't trust him then send him back. Don't just bench him. I think they are about to announce he is gone.

And with some work in about 2 years he will be a monster at the plate. But he has to stop selling out, throwing open that front shoulder, and guessing at pitches.

I'd thikn that when Lucroy went off the market someone like Suzuki was the fallback and we got the groundwork for a deal there. Now the question is probably is the much more we have to give up for Lucroy worth the price.

Also I'm sure Texas is reaching out to Lucroys agent to make sure he would report and wouldn't be a problem if they pick up his option.
