I understand that. If he comes back, plays 5 innings, and has to come out of the game / go back on the DL again. Someone needs to be fired. I'll just drop it and hope that DDJ and Mazara keep playing well.

You're getting worked up over shit that cant be controlled, they could keep him out until October and he could get hurt again walking out of the dugout. Some guys are just built that way. Then you have a guy like MY who played 13 years and never once went on the DL.

Shit happens

OK, I've said all season Barnette has done a fine job. Now, he's doing a good job....which actually, he's done much more often than not.

So all you "Barnette sucks guys" step up and be counted.

I wasn't one of those guys actually

Ill say....... Im certain I probably said Tony sucked before, during a game where he was having a tough stretch of games. In my defense though anything I say during the heat and battle of a game cant be taken seriously. :D

  • MLB.com’s Jon Morosi tweets that one scenario being discussed has one of Yohander Mendez or Luis Ortiz going to the Brewers (obviously, among other pieces).
  • FanRag’s Jon Heyman tweets that the Mets are out on Lucroy, but the Rangers and “others” are still in the mix.

Been awhile since I faced 95, was hitting well at 80mph the other day, but 90+ may be pushing it after 40

I'm not even sure how I would do on 80 anymore either. The one I went to maxed out at 70. Where did you face 95? High School or did you play some college ball? I played some early in high school but I don't think we ever faced anyone that could throw over 85. I always sucked when they got close to that because I refused to use anything but a wood bat. I thought I was practicing to be in the majors, ha.
