Last time I went to the cages I did better than I thought I would but I also walked away with pretty serious blisters. Will have to get some gloves before I go again.

I'd like to find one that throws 90-95 mph, just so I can say I tried it. Pretty sure I wouldn't hit it at all. Probably couldn't even bunt it.

I saw 91 once. It did not go well for me.

How does harrel look? Im at work

3 walks and just about as many balls as strikes, if not a few more, 2 solo HR's. Hasn't been terrible considering his command. Has gotten some help from Hanser and the DP too

Rangers do seem to have a trend of guys coming back from injury and then almost immediately getting injured again.
It's not because they are not checked out. Medical can't guarantee 100% the condition of players.

Harrell did good today. Just need to throw more strikes (94 pitches, 48 strikes) but overall a quality start and leaving with a lead. Got no problem with that.

Been awhile since I faced 95, was hitting well at 80mph the other day, but 90+ may be pushing it after 40

An awful AB for DDJ. Swung at a pitch, up and outta the zone. Plus hit it right too the pitcher.....Really bad AB.

Do you think he comes back without being checked out the best of their ability?

Then they must really suck ass at evaluating if guys are ready or not. I wouldn't be saying this if it hasn't happened with Choo at least 3 times already this year. I don't pretend to have inside knowledge of the situation, but someone is doing an incompetent job.

I just looked, evidently Topgolf in Dallas has some that are adjustable to that level. I might have to check that out sometime, been wanting to go anyway. Being adjustable might be nice, then you could work your way up. Still don't imagine it going well.

Yiu realize he's out this time due to his back. Had nothing to do with his other two DL stints.

per Wilson's tweet earlier

Adrian Beltre just tied Babe Ruth for 43rd all time in hits at 2,873.

Harrell definitely an upgrade over Nick Martinez or chi chi

If I had to rate Nick/Gonzalez right now this is my say: Nick, long man outta the pen, and spot starter is all we can expect. Chi Chi, no fucking idea.....He looks like he outta be in AA right now and regrouping to me.

I understand that. If he comes back, plays 5 innings, and has to come out of the game / go back on the DL again. Someone needs to be fired. I'll just drop it and hope that DDJ and Mazara keep playing well.

OK, I've said all season Barnette has done a fine job. Now, he's doing a good job....which actually, he's done much more often than not.

So all you "Barnette sucks guys" step up and be counted.
