Sampson has adjusted well to the opener strategy.

Why don't our TV announcers state why Elvis was considered a spray hitter. Two words why and we all know it - Ron Washington.

I can't wait for the second guessing the first time one of these games with an Opener is completed by a pitcher throwing 8 innings of a no hitter.

I’m guessing we won’t be seeing much of DDJ this year.

JPM better hurry and come along. We spent 2 mil on him and I believe he’s already 24.
That is one reason I consider their MLB experience as being worth a lot more than their age when it comes to patience.

Odor was out. He already has his one hit for the series.

Hinneman is another one about that age if older I was hoping to see accelerate his progress. Injury hurt his chances.

There are a number of ex Miami Marlins tearing it apart right now. Yelitch, Ozuna, Dietrich, and Stanton when healthy. Not sure how Tomas Telis and Realmuto are doing and any others I may have missed. That team would be ridiculous.

Sampson reminds me (somewhat) of Colby Lewis. The stuff isn’t going to amaze you or blow you away, but he’s a fighter and he gets people out.

To say that Guzman's HR was 412 ft is absurd. If measured to where it is estimated the ball would have landed on flat ground that HR is beyond 412 ft easy which is what I thought statcast does.

I’m starting to like Guzman a little more. He’s actually had some big hits in the last week or so.
