The Carter injury hurt as he sees pitches and is a good contact hitter which the Rangers are short on. Osuna is a great addition but some falsely think he can’t stick because he does not have enough pop
You need table setters and less strikeout artists

So maybe even me was foolish on the Joc addition seeing we have a bunch of sluggers and wannabe sluggers like Marcus who IMO have shown no impetus to change which would salvage some value

My wanting to be sellers is based in the team not being good enough to compete as it is presently constructed. It has absolutely nothing to do with Rocker being abandoned as a starting pitcher

The Rocker decision is based on getting the most out of him over his career. In fact, making him a closer does more to assure us being sellers in the future, as it hurts the team longterm. I don't want to have to be sellers next year or anytime soon, again. It is apparent we need to be sellers this year though. We needed to be sellers last year, and if we had, we might have some more wins this year.

How can we know? But I think they are considering it and something leaked out that should not. No reason to think Evan lied although he made a backtrack to appease CY

Ye injury could lead Rocket to start but he is one of the best pitchers relievers included and CU did say the best pitcher would be up here

Last thing CY wants leaked is we are set to unload contracts. Bad for the gate

I think the problem with Rocker as a closer would be his control. Same reason I wouldn't want Leiter as a closer.
