When Bochy gives his opinion on how long a player is going to be out with an injury it tells me absolutely nothing. I have zero trust in him in that area. Carter could have had his wrist dangling by a thread and Bochy would have softsoaped it. Lol

Well, I have no idea how serious it is just by seeing it on TV, but him having to leave the game is concerning, especially with them already assuming he will miss today's game. I can see him playing Sunday and I can see him not playing for two weeks.

Tyler Mahle, a key cog in the Texas Rangers‘ rotation the first two months of the season, could be placed on the 15-day injured list as soon as Sunday with a shoulder issue.

Manager Bruce Bochy mentioned Saturday that the Rangers are monitoring the right-hander after his most recent start Tuesday at Minnesota. Mahle was sent for an MRI exam Friday.

If the imaging shows a strain, Mahle would need at least two weeks without throwing. Once cleared to throw, he would need additional time to rebuild his arm strength. The Rangers can backdate the potential IL move three days, but a return before the All-Star break would be an optimistic timeline.
The Rangers have right-hander Kumar Rocker with the team and can recall him from Triple A Round Rock before his required 15-day stay because of an IL move. Bochy said that Rocker could start Sunday in the series finale against the White Sox.

“We’ll see where we’re at there,” Bochy said. “It’s always a possibility.”

It seems that Jung has had numerous opportunities this year with the based loaded or men in scoring position to help the team. I am just seeing swing and misses and Ks looking from him.
I remember the 4 rbi game at Minnesota but not much around that game.

No you're not missing anything. He has been lacking in RBI situiations

That's what I thought. The other night against the Twins he had a really good game but I don't remember any other big games.
I predicted if he stayed healthy he would hit 30hr but looks like that prediction will come up short

I think they hid Mahle's injury. That is why we are having good so many costly bullpen games. Those bullpen games are going to tell on them over the next several days

this team has quit. i 've been to enough of their games this season to recognize it when they do. they'll get 1 hit the rest of the way

Wow this sucks being down 2-0 to this team with DeGrom starting. This feels like one of those games that we have had to suffer with alot this season.
Hope the offense can get it together so we all don't have to bummed out later on.
