With Carter hurt, Osuna should either see more playing time or he should be sent down.

He started 4 games between June 3 and June 8 without getting on base. That is nothing compared to some of the slumps we have witnessed this year. Some guys could go 10 times that long before being benched or maybe before even being moved down in the order.

For sure. Look at Pedersen. Jung and Seager are examples. Osuna has not been given ample time to properly evaluate. I feel Crim got the shaft. And no need to mention Leody. He had far more time than he should have.

Jung not having a good game and frankly looks like he has a lack of in game maturity
Swinging max out of his feet out of control
Missing a 2 strike approach
All out approach and crazy misses.
Hate to see it. He is losing value IMO
Yes spot on. Has left a lot runners on in scoring position so far to this point of the season for the exception of one game recently against the Twins.

Still it was a one run game for quite a bit.
Team was not quitting. Just not playing well
Jonah swing at ball 4 too

Carter provides a definite spark

Marcus had a huge late inning AB and double. That was the ultimate difference IMO
The team really battled back today. Smith is a gamer. Semian has his bat turned around and hope the 4th spot continues to serve him well. When Carter plays well this team is so much tougher to deal with.

I am with you on Crim. Talk about a quick cup of coffee.

If you noticed Jung's AB in the 11th inning with a man on 3rd and 1 out they threw him a very hittable pitch that he took for strike. Then they threw a pitch that broke in on his hands that he swung at and popped it up in foul territory. They are consistently throwing in at his hands because for some reason he can't seem to lay off of it.
