Then I go after a free agent starter

After giving up your #11 and #14 prospects for 2 months of a guy that isn't going to push you over the top because you stated there are too many holes to fill.....

I'd rather watch caterpillars hump than watch Brad Miller in the lineup

Like I said I work to sign him and then we work on the bullpen in the offseason and a bat or 2 either thru FA or from the farm. If you have any better solutions let’s hear them

Refering more to what is his worth to help win.
Zero, nada

Which is why I want him gone and we bring up Martinez or Crim or Foscue

Hell we could DFA Grossman and bring up 2 of those 3

Watching on the MLB app but there are some real questionable called strikes from this tracker

However its through 3 innings and no one has gotten on base....sigh

Well I just said I wouldn't have traded for a rental that you are unsure you can re-sign, if you aren't sure you can contend with what you got currently, as to not waste prospects. I would have used those 2 players that were traded to trade for pieces that could help next year and beyond, if I was good with trading them, like maybe some BP guys. Then I would have tried to sign a pitcher like Monty or actually Monty in free agency.

I am not only going to beat the dead horse but I willl kick the ever loving shit out of it because for decades the Rangers dont address the BP in the offseason. They throw the young guys out there that they try to get MLB experience coming out of the pen or guys that aren't necessarily ready to be SP at the MLB level yet and get them innings. It's been unsuccessful for the most part.

I have said that I am ok with not trading the whole farm to go mostly all in this year but make moves that make the most sense. Maybe. I dont know what I am talking about but it makes sense in my head

Doesn't make sense having Miller DH. Why not let Smith DH and get a chance to hit better when he is on the field or Bubba since he's up here.

Or bring up Martinez, Crim and Foscue and use their bats

Really hope getting Seager and (hopefully) Heim back brings some life back to this dead offense. Yikes.
I'd bring Foscue up ASAP.
