If we are buyers do we need relief pitchers. Sandler was saying we could trade for a couple of them, but that means we would also have to trade a starting pitcher to make room. Do we really want to do that and lose our depth? Even with those guys in place that I listed, we will have to trade Leclerc.

I don’t think Leclerc gets traded unless it greatly improves the team because my understanding is he loves the Rangers and doesn’t want to play for anyone else and the organization really likes him and wants to keep him around if possible. At least that’s what I heard a couple months ago.

Blaine Crim had 3 more hits tonight for Round Rock. After a very slow start he has done much better over the last 4 weeks. His slash line in that time is .429/.538/.571/1.109.
