And that wasn't an injury situation. We got zero information about what was going on with Porter for a very long time.

I have to think there is more doctors can do. But also heard a year ago that he is not fully grown and there may be more that can be done when they feel he is

I went into spring training much more optimistic than most anyone else. I thought he would do fine in ST and would have a great season this year. I have went from feeling that way to thinking there is at least a 50% chance that he retires before the end of the year.

Jack Leiter threw 53 pitches of live batting practice today. Bruce Bochy said #Rangers haven't decided if Leiter's next step will be a rehab assignment or an MLB game.

Bruce Bochy had a surprise today during his media session: LHP Patrick Corbin almost didn't pitch Wednesday night after getting bitten on the foot by a spider. He hobbled into the clubhouse but improved enough to pitch. Bochy said it was 50/50.
