Civale

Hitter:
Bellinger

Like the first two. Not sure about Civale. And do we need Bellinger

Well, his OPS this year is better than everyone we have besides Seager. Also, it has been better over the last two months than it was the first two months. Outside of him pulling a Harold Baines, he should greatly improve our lineup.

Man, I was thinking about Baines the other day and what a choke job that was.

I wouldn’t complain about getting him as long as the price tag wasn’t too high but I’ve enjoyed watching Taveras, Duran & Jankowski so if we didn’t chase Bellinger or some other outfielder I wouldn’t complain either. Pitching, pitching, pitching is just 1st, 2nd & 3rd on my wish list

17 days off and McClanahan is as sharp as a tack.

Looking at this start we would need 4 or 5. McClanahan basically gotten 9 straight with only 34 pitches. The only Ranger to get the bat out of the infield is Semien

It just gets worse. 8 pitches and he’s retired 12 in a row and still only 1 ball out of the infield

Shane McClanahan has given up 3 hits for every 4 innings this year. The Rangers have 1 hit through 4 innings. That is one reason why I see a need for an improved offense if we are to get very far in the postseason.​

I am afraid we could get two starting pitchers and two set up guys and still get swept in the first round by scores of 2-1 or 2-0.
