If we got a good return for Mattin then who cares about a package deal. Allard might have been the second piece in the package deal had we made one. This doesn't keep us from doing business with Atlanta for Minor at all. Evan has been the only one so far to even suggest that.

Evan, along with several others seem to want to keep Minor so badly that they jump at every possible reason why he is, or should be, staying.

I think the NL is easier to pitch in tho. Hell pitching in the AL West is brutal. Every team in our division puts up a ton of runs.

I like the Chris Martin trade.

At least we got something done and we still have tomorrow to deal as well.

This pitcher could end up being a good piece for us and given our glut of relievers in the minor leagues, Martin absolutely had to be moved.

MLB.com has Allard too far down in our rankings. He probably should be in top 10. He is better right now than Hernandez and Phillips as far as pitchers go, and they have those guys ranked better than Allard.
