Not 1 change to the order. Odds on Semien making an out on the 1st pitch he sees: even money

No kidding. They should have thrown him into the mix once and see how he does.I guess King and Howard are to valuable to try a guy like Tepera.

FactMy guess is they didn't think he was worth a spot on the 40-man. Yes, I realize there are a few others that also don't.
I wonder if FO is all in to win this year or 2024. A few more days should tell.I think we can easily bring up some MILB pitchers but my guess we are exploring the trade market first
Hate to roster the MILB guy then take on a trade
Yeah, even if they have to run one after another until they find someone that would be better than not even trying him. That is what they did with Anderson and he worked out.No kidding. They should have thrown him into the mix once and see how he does.
Why? So they wouldn't lose the guy they brought up? They lost him anyway. So what would it have hurt?I think we can easily bring up some MILB pitchers but my guess we are exploring the trade market first

They had better see if this team is better after the break to determine their course of action. From Kevin Sherrington:
The question is: How far does the general manager think the Rangers can go this season, and how much is he willing to sacrifice to get there?
Does he make a big splash, raking off the top of the farm system in the process?
Or does he make a couple of ripples and wait to go all in next year?
If it's someone who can help make the team better and we still have a couple years of control then do it. But I am not wanting rentals unless we can get someone that helps us for very little in return. I didn't have a problem with the Chapman deal since we already screwed Ragans up. I just hope we use him at the appropriate times. From Kevin Sherrington:

Too much for a rental. Acuna, Leiter & Figereo is what I’d offer
for example Speas if you roster him snd sign another that is 2 roster spotsWhy? So they wouldn't lose the guy they brought up? They lost him anyway. So what would it have hurt?
Nope. You might get Bednar and Keller if you want to trade this amount
Well, Speas is in a completely different category that Tepera. The discussion was about not running Tepera up here before releasing him. Speas is not getting released.for example Speas if you roster him snd sign another that is 2 roster spots
Maybe they like the signing other then Speas
So wait in rostering Speas
Otanhi is the "Babe" of today and he will not go cheap even as a rental.Nope. You might get Bednar and Keller if you want to trade this amount
If the Angels do trade him they will get more than the average no team is going to gut their farm system to get him. They will get quality but limitedOtanhi is the "Babe" of today and he will not go cheap even as a rental.
