I have heard that the lack of sellers may force some trades between buyers where those teams trade strength for strength. Those kind of trades used to be a lot more common back in the day.

We are cursed with the trade market.

when we were sellers and trying desperately to rebuild, everyone was hoarding prospects.

now when we are trying to compete, not enough teams selling and prices will be bullshit high.

Did Perez earn himself one more start after righting the ship his last few innings? 2 strikeouts and 4 walks in 5 innings is not ideally what you want to see but he didn't give up any runs the last 3 innings.

From the seats the HP umpire had a different strike zone for Perez and Bibee. Virtually pitches in the same area would be a strike for Bibee and a ball for Perez

I think he did as long as Bradford is his only replacement. If they trade for a starter then all bets are off.

Might be a good idea to keep Bradford ready when Perez starts. I kind of liked that setup yesterday. Then if for some reason Bradford needed to start in Perez's spot he would slide right in.

I dont think I would give up all 4 of those guys but some combo and a couple lower tiered guys and I pull the trigger

Well I am going again Saturday and was hoping for Dunning or Eovaldi to somehow get the ball then but they won't push Dunning up a day and Valdi won't get pushed back that far, so hopefully Perez keeps us in the game for the BP to win
