Would you want him back at a discounted rate?

I don't know. He pissed me off so much with the way he quit on his team. We need a COF one way or another. He's a great player but with the baggage and he's hurt at the end of every year now, I would have to say no.....probably.

Not a good year for Elvis. Yes, let's load the bases again.

I felt the same way about his ending but the question is not easy to answer.

So every time you hit the ball into the RF corner it's a triple now? Our COFers are so bad defensively.

I still think Josh messed up even considering leaving here. He had it made here with all of the special accommodations that we made for him. I think if he had found a way to stay here that the Angels, the Rangers, and Josh would have all been better off. That may seem very far fetched, but I really think that would have been the case.

Seattle better turn it around, A's lost again and trying to give them second place.

Problem is you can't or they won't bench someone making as much money as EA will make next year.

It's the Vernon Wells conundrum- do you play a subpar player at the detriment to your own team because you were foolish enough to grossly overpay him, or do you just watch a huge chunk of payroll rot on the bench? I'm not saying Elvis is subpar or as bad as Vernon, but if he keeps regressing (or at least not developing), I could see a similar situation developing if Profar and Odor push him aside.

I'd give anything if the Yankees would take Elvis and his bloated carcass of a contract off our hands. $100 Million extra to spend would buy a nice pitcher for sure.

What you say may be true because he was better off here and the fans stuck with him until that 1 game playoff when they had enough of his 3 month or so look of I don't seem to care play. If Josh was willing to give it his all again things would have been fine. But he refused to believe any of the problems were on him. It was everyone else at fault. I know I would want him here if he played like the old Josh but not at the price the Angels are paying him.
