DT you did the bulk of the work with dg joining in a time or two. From what they said Means has done a good job pitching this year.
He pitched well tonight too

Hard to say if he pitched well or we are just not hitting collectively. About 4 or 5 hits total. Didn’t score till the late innings again.

200+ games attended?

Do you mind telling us which ballparks you’ve been to?

I’ve only been to the globe, Minute Maid ( I also went when it was Enron), safeco, Oakland coliseum, and angel stadium.
I have only been to see games in 3 other stadiums. I went to Enron/Minute Made twice to see the Rangers play. I went to Camden Yards that one time in 2013. I saw The Rockies in their inaugural season in 1993 play the Phillies at Mile High Stadium. The other 200 or so games have been in one of our two stadiums.

I did see the Spurs play once at Turnpike Stadium.

In 1961 Roger Maris hit 61 HR. I was fortunate to witness two in one game in NY. Was in the service and headed back overseas. Admission was 25 cents to military personal. Seated behind 1st base dugout. Had to pay for my beer tho. Cheap yanks. lol:suds:

I saw Maris hit a HR in the 9th inning of a game in DC when my dad was stationed at the Pentagon in that same year. The Senators won 6-1. That was really rare as they were horrible. We lived in Cape Cod so I went to Fenway from 67-69. Also went to the Astrodome on the way back from Hawaii to be stationed in Cape Cod and saw Houston play the Cardinals and Bob Gibson pitched. Next night saw a DH against the Braves with Aaron and Torre. Been to Mile High and the Coors Field in Denver and to that horrible stadium in Arlington and the new, about to be extinct, ballpark in Arlington.

That’s an awesome story.

My oldest baseball memory definitely doesn’t even come close. When I was 4 or 5, my family and I had nosebleed seats. We usually sit really close now a days tho.

Anyway, it was my first game and I remember my dad telling me how good Juan Gonzalez is. He hit a home run on greens hill and tons of kids wrestled for the ball. The year was probably 1990 or 91.

Very impressive list.

Astrodome, old Yankee, comiskey, and candlestick are all old classics that can’t be visited now a days.

This is for Nightcrawler - I used to go to every Spurs game back in the ABA days for $1 which was a military discount. I can still remember the starting lineup of Geroge the Iceman Gervin, Larry Kenon, Swen Nater (backup to Bill Walton at UCLA and a good player), James Silas and Mike Gale. Those were fun games to watch.

Poor Solak was guessing wrong on just about every pitch there. He was so late on recognizing Bundy's curveball as he must have been looking for a fastball and vice versa. It happens.
