I've heard people refer to the scoring in baseball as "points". Thankfully I am always there to make sure to correct them.

I say runs and always have. Postseason / playoffs isn't a big deal, but "points" is pretty bad.

Points is one thing, but playoffs has been used by more than just folks who don't understand the game very well.
