Not much interested in a 7 year contract for a guy that will be 30 at the end of next season. I would consider 5 years however. Same on Rendon who will be 30 in June, would probably go 4-5 on him too. I really honestly think that if they think Solak can play 3rd and Odor can improve some, that is who will start most games at 2nd and 3rd next year.

Amazingly enough, that seems to be the case with anyone who has any power or authority with the rangers. Everyone in the rangers media seems to be personally rooting for him like he’s their best friend or something.

If you polled the rangers fan base tho, I think the results would be a completely different story.
