No More "Bullpen Failure"
Someone should have told the Rangers that.Season not over yet BTW

A three way tiebreaker is different from the 2 way tiebreaker. No they don’t, record is head to head? They’re 8-3 vs the mariners after tonight’s loss

Pressly almost blew another save. He’s an awful closer. I never understood how he was able to do so well there for a while. He’s a soft-tossing junkballer with mediocre control.Astros just won.
Toronto, Houston, and Seattle have tried their hardest to keep the Rangers in the playoffs. Up until this week, those teams all went into the tank while we were in the middle of our month-long “slump”. Had any of those teams played great baseball, we would be eliminated by now.The surprising parts of this month are the sweeps of Toronto amd Seattle.
Ahh ok lol gotchaYou’re not listening. We win a TWO-WAY tiebreaker with Seattle. But in a THREE WAY tie with Seattle AND Houston, we finish 3rd.
Maybe Burke is not here next year.So will anyone be held accountable for this absolute embarrassment of a game? Eovaldi? Burke? The entire lineup?
Probably not.
What is needed?Maybe Burke is not here next year.
Contract accountability
Can’t throw whole team into a corner
What is needed ?
You talked about players being held accountableWhat is needed?
A brand new bullpen, or at least as many new faces there as possible in one offseason. Give Stratton and Leclerc one more season.
A manager who is capable of making decisions based on sound logic and undeniable statistical evidence. A manager who is able to recognize his team’s deficiencies and manager around them as opposed to featuring them.
A new first baseman
A new hitting coach. The first half power display is a distant memory. The team can’t hit fastballs and can’t hit with RISP, two fatal flaws. Some of that is on the players, but it’s up to the hitting coach to fix it.
Start with those changes and you’ll have a much better team.
