Jeff Wilson had Owen white on his podcast recently. Jeff asked him about both Owen and Leiter giving up a lot of walks and if there was some problem with the mound in Arkansas. Owen said it wasn't the mound, but the backdrop behind the plate was different that other parks and took some getting used to. He was very disappointed in his last performance.

Jeff Wilson also asked him about getting benefited by going to a big league spring training and especially getting to be around the Maddux brothers. Owen was quick to point out that he benefited the most by talking to Nathan Eovaldi in spring training.

The good thing is, it is beginning to. Anderson looked good. Either Dunning or Heaney will go to the pen when DeGrom returns and Burke, Ragans and Smith. We need another piece or two but I like what I have seen in these guys.
