No deal as of noon. Looking like we're gonna move on. White sox asking for too much, and the way we've been playing right now we really dont even NEED him

Rotoworld has a twitter post from Jim Bowden that suggests Rangers are balking at eating $17 million for Rios. I don't do twitter but it is interesting about the money aspect.

Really, glad the FO will not cave in to that nonsense. I heard Bowden say that Willingham could hit the waiver wire soon. I think he was saying after he comes off the DL. Sure wish the Rockies who have crashed and burned would put Cuddyer out there.

I'm glad to see them crash and burn. Everybody knew they wouldn't contend but they fooled themselves into believing they would. Now you got jack shut when you could've got a couple decent prospects.

Cuddyer isn't passing through the NL

No. Just no.

I am sure Hahn will be asking for the same package for Dunn. Do we should not even bother claiming him unless we are trying to block Oakland. Looking like Berkman is not coming back from the most recent news (not ready for rehab start). If the price is right (which it won't be) JD may consider Dunn.

No thanks. Dunn doesn't bring any value to the team and he certainly doesn't contribute to the ball we're trying to play.

Sure I kind of understand. If they are asking for a medium or top prospect we would expect CWS to eat a chunk of the salary.

Player to be named later for Rios. Won't be Garcia.
