I know some of you do not approve of Joey playing CF but he made plays today that DDJ could not have made due to size. He kept us in the game getting to balls that would have cost us a defeat and if that is not enough, the throw to get Buxton at 3B saved it. Not saying that Joey is the man but someone like him with more height and arm strength is needed b/c DDJ would likely have cost us the game today. ( not beating up on DDJ )

I like him as our CF. He has speed and a strong arm. He is still learning the position but so far he looks good to me. So I agree 100%.

We have young guys coming up with more raw speed but Joey has a cannon and will be a better bat. Makes it easier for Calhoun to play more. Logjam again when Pence comes back
