Nice throw, didn't think he had a chance of throwing Buxton out.
Kept the runner going to home from scoring too

With his bat they need to find a spot somewhere.

Re Minor One might think he is close to being traded. Players pulled all the time to protect an injury
But I see the logic in trying to control his innings
I agree.....I asked just a while back if anyone thought 'Minor had hit the wall' and got nothing back. Apparently my question has been answered by the Rangers themselves.
Frankly, I didn't understand where Evan was coming from in his article.....This seems like a totally prudent move, regardless of what position the team takes toward Minor, in keeping him or trading him.
Just last week Woodward and Minor were discussing how he needs to pitch as much as he can to make the most difference. A few days later they completely reverse themselves. That is what makes it odd. What they are doing with him is no big deal. How they have handled it is strange indeed.Anyway you look at it you are protecting an asset. Trade or innings control. Hitting the wall may be completely accurate. He was ready for a break
The article was by Kevin Sherrington. Evan would never write such an article. Everything they do is fine and dandy with Evan. lolI agree.....I asked just a while back if anyone thought 'Minor had hit the wall' and got nothing back. Apparently my question has been answered by the Rangers themselves.

No problem with doing that. The handling was bad. There was no reason not to be forthright about it.Not doubting that but I do not always take the rhetoric at face value.
What I recollect is last years inning count was just over 150 and his pace this year projected him over 210 innings. An extended time of rest seems prudent. Thus protecting your asset
