Noticed that and he was interestingI wonder what happened to DTC. I don't think he has posted on here since before the season started.

Very.Embarrassing
I think they said they have had 10 thrown against them so this first one for them must feel great for their fans.Musgrove is from San Diego and that's the first no-hitter for the franchise. Cool baseball moment.
We have a lot of growing to do as a team.Embarrassing
You have to wonder how some pitchers ever get to MLBWell, Arihara's ERA sits at 5.00. That is about what I expected from him when we got him.
Exactly and when almost every pitch is perfectly located it is impossible for hitters to work the pitcher's pitch count. Hats off to MusgroveMusgrove was unreal last night, almost every pitch was perfectly placed, well earned no hitter
Yep, this is the kind of game that I actually agree with being concerned about working the counts and wearing down the pitcher. One thing they have to learn is when a pitcher is going that good you want to draw every at bat out of far as possible, "spoil his pitches" to get his count up and hope you can get to him when he gets tired or pissed or to the relief pitcher(s)...
He's probably still getting used to the difference between the balls they use in Japan (stickier) than what MLB uses (slicker)...Arihara has had two starts in the MLB, let's give him some time before we write him off.
Lol. I guess I wrote him off when we signed him. It is way too early to say that I was right about him though. It is just humorous to me that I said when we got him that he was probably going to put up a 5.00 ERA and after this very small sample size that is exactly where he is. Hopefully, he proves me wrong, but, I never expected much from him.Arihara has had two starts in the MLB, let's give him some time before we write him off.
Biggest thing I think they could have done to try to change the direction of the game was to intentionally foul off pitch after pitch to get the count up and frustrate Musgrove. I know it may sound a bit cheesy and can be a bit boring to watch but whatever works is what you gotta do...Yep, this is the kind of game that I actually agree with being concerned about working the counts and wearing down the pitcher.
