I didnt agree with Dubinsky getting thrown out last night, then again I didnt agree when Salvador got kicked out for doing the same thing. They need to fix hat rule where its OK to the the 3rd man in if your teammate is on the ice and getting his face punched in because the guy on top of him is a prick

Dubinsky would not have been in trouble if he'd done that for a friend on the street. But it's a hockey game, so the concept of justified defense of another is out the window...

Jeff, are you implying that Alfredsson took himself out of a critical game just so Hagelin would get suspended? You know that's not fucking true. Alfie has suffered 4 or 5 concussions in his career now and you don't know how bad they can be.

I think the team was careful because Alfie has suffered a few concussions before. As early as this season in fact. Really though, concussions are a different animal. You can take a head shot and be fine the next day or you can feel the effects of it for months or even longer. I think the team thought the worst immediately after the hit and pulled him out.

The one thing about Alfie is that he's played through a lot of injuries in his career. He always comes back earlier then he should and it appears as though that is the case this time too. He would probably be better off sitting out another game imo.
