Honestly, I dont think any team right now is thinking Jimmy G is their guy next year. I feel that Jimmy G will be playing somewhere but as a bridge QB to one of the rookies coming in, maybe.LV almost has to be looking at either BRady or Jimmy, right?
And with Carr moving on, there are Lots of teams that'll need a QB where he could land. NYJ, NYG, Washington, Tampa, NO, Indy, Houston, Carolina...
At this point, any team courting Brady would have to know more than everyone else. Brady is currently in the worst division in football and still relevant. Maybe the Niners thing happens because Brady wants to go there but I think a lot of things would have to line up for that to actually happen. Vegas? Seems unlikely.
I'd probably rule out Carr to the Giants, Texans, and Colts. Washington and the Jets do jump out as teams where you might see mutual interest. Coaches desperate to make a move. Carr was an 7.8 YPA guy with Gruden and 7.0 YPA guy with everyone else. In the past three seasons, he has had 14 Game Winning Drives and 10 4th quarter comebacks. He isnt a franchise QB but he is a starter.
