LV almost has to be looking at either BRady or Jimmy, right?

And with Carr moving on, there are Lots of teams that'll need a QB where he could land. NYJ, NYG, Washington, Tampa, NO, Indy, Houston, Carolina...
Honestly, I dont think any team right now is thinking Jimmy G is their guy next year. I feel that Jimmy G will be playing somewhere but as a bridge QB to one of the rookies coming in, maybe.

At this point, any team courting Brady would have to know more than everyone else. Brady is currently in the worst division in football and still relevant. Maybe the Niners thing happens because Brady wants to go there but I think a lot of things would have to line up for that to actually happen. Vegas? Seems unlikely.

I'd probably rule out Carr to the Giants, Texans, and Colts. Washington and the Jets do jump out as teams where you might see mutual interest. Coaches desperate to make a move. Carr was an 7.8 YPA guy with Gruden and 7.0 YPA guy with everyone else. In the past three seasons, he has had 14 Game Winning Drives and 10 4th quarter comebacks. He isnt a franchise QB but he is a starter.

Mayfield (Rams) 98.9 - #7 among QBs
Mayfield (Panthers) 74.4 - #32 among QBs

Dude is baffling.
Most of that is this past game when Denver's D pretty much mailed it in by the end of the first qtr. Then there was the one big drive to beat the Raiders. I would chalk it up to coaching and the change of scenery letting Baker just go out and play with no expectations.
Ironically, the Panthers have actually been playing good ball, albeit ground and pound boring.

Sam Darnold's play has been even more surprising than Baker's play, imo

unless you're a great QB. Coaching matters.

took a minute, but that team has definitely found their Mojo after replacing the HC. Sam Darnold seems to click with this coaching group.
Hope that guy gets the Head coaching gig full time next year.

I hate people like this in team sports. This clearly the most important thing to accomplish

Texans left tackle Laremy Tunsil told ESPN on Wednesday that he wants to be the highest-paid tackle in the NFL.
"I don't know who's the highest right now, maybe Trent [Williams] at 23 [million], but I want to top that," Tunsil told ESPN. "Always want to reset the market. Perfect opportunity to reset the market. Everything is lining up as far as my contract to how I'm playing. Everything lining up perfectly."

Are the Texans playing for anything right now? This guy is a professional that shows up every week and does his job. Why can’t he be a human being and like the rest of us want to maximize his income when he has opportunity that comes his way because of his talents?

He can say all that when it's time, I don't know, being a long season in this team sport with two games to play seems like poor timing to me, I mean, who in that locker room gives a shit about him being the top paid and setting the market at this particular time?

Gotta say, I'm surprised I had to draw this picture for you, JV coaches really should be pushing the team aspect more than varsity coaches. Molding young minds kinda thing, I guess.

Jimmy G??? I'm no Carr fan, but that is a big downgrade from Carr to Jimmy G

"Airing on Christmas Eve Saturday, Eagles-Cowboys averaged a 12.0 rating and 27.83 million viewers "

I'm surprised it was even this close.

Oh no worries. You have a boola boola Boomer vision of sports that is easily dismissed. Things changed my guy. You forget that the context of these comments is probably a direct response to a question that he was asked about his contract situation.

Jimmy G to the Jets would make sense.
Jimmy G to the Raiders doesnt.
Jimmy G built his whole career having a top notch Defense to help.
Jets have a good D. Raiders not so much.

Jimmy G. could thrive in Jersey.
The Raiders would hurt his brand.

I think the Jets are sticking with the Mike White and Zach Wilson combo until they are ready to admit Wilson is not the answer and I don’t think Jimmy G is definitively enough better than Mike White to give up $10M in cap space for him at this point. He has never really been any good and he is going to be 32 next year.

edit: I’m not saying the Jets won’t for sure be ready to admit that after the next two games. I just don’t think they are ready right now And they like Mike White.

LOL...least my old mind knows how 95% would respond to such a question. Stupid ass leading questions were around before cable TV.
Not this guy, he's talking about setting the market. Which REMAINS the point to my post. I'm fine you have a different opinion and happy you've been able to somewhat control yourself.

Progress for you.

The point of your post was jealousy. Laremy Tunsil could buy and sell you. It bothers you that he speaks his mind. You feel better when those black athletes stay in their place with those comments.

Let's see, first it was poor kids in poverty, old, can't get it up, and grumpy. This post adds jealousy and being a racist.

Hypocrisy thy name is Boomer.

Quick recap dumbass: you started the conversation with a grinds your gears post about a guy who thinks he is one of the best OTs in the game trying to negotiate a contract that pays him like that.

You cry and cry about personal insults but you don’t think twice about tossing around your own personal insults.

Like most Boomers, you’re a hypocrite. What makes you unique though is that you whine and cry like a little baby.
