I was going to mention BRICS earlier but I figured it would only turn political.
Yeah, I probably shouldn't have brought it up. The NFL trying to expand its audience any way possible should generally be expected. You just have to hope that nothing happens or else it'll be on everyone's political radar.

Politics aside, most of those countries are just too far to enable meaningful games being played there. Just playing in England messes teams up enough and probably should get a bye paired with that game. If the schedule ever gets to 2 bye weeks, maybe they can find a way to schedule it appropriately?

Actual expansion is impossible. Imagine the travel costs and effect on the players, just too much.

There are 42 QBs with more passing TDs in the past three years than DeShaun Watson.

It's 9 road game journeys in a year, and 3 of them are within the same division. How many trips do players in the other major US sports have to make?

When they get the base laid down enough, it will be a division.

There will be two byes by then. And we’re all gonna love it.

We're going to love really early games? If they put games in China, you may have to skip sleep on Saturday nights.

3 years is an unfair measure, given that he missed the entirety of 2021. A total of 12 games over those 3 years.

That's part of my point.

He missed 16 games because he didn't want to play for the Texans, 11 for sexual misconduct, missed 11 more because he couldn't stay healthy, and when he was he only had an 81.7 passer rating.

All while being paid as one of the top few players in the league.

Not what you want to see days before the opener against a team known for attacking the middle of the field. Is it Jeremiah Trotter Jr time? Eagles are thin at off ball linebacker and White was by far the most experienced option. Now it’s maybe Oren Burks, Trotter or Nakobe Dean, but Dean struggles in coverage and has mostly played the other off ball LB position in this scheme.

Now all the Philly beat writers are tweeting at the same time that Devin White was never going to start anyway, that he was beaten out by Nakobe Dean, that he was nearly traded before cutdowns....and that's all BS. These guys are embarrassing journalists, and they are all clearly tweeting PR talking points from the Philly front office. These same beat writers spent all summer saying how Dean could not cover anyone and was possibly on the outs. Dean did play better in the games and stood out against the run. But he's a liability in pass coverage and somewhat undersized to boot.

We'll see.

Bull fucking shit. Moscow is one of the nicest cities on the planet and these dumb fucks here don't care about playing there. It's not just about money. These people are lying. They just want to bring Brazil more into the American political orbit and they are willing to ruin our lovely football games to do it. Fuck them.

Relax. The Eagles weren't going anywhere this year anyway.

I just think it is hilarious how they all tweet the same takes at the same time. Literally within 5 minutes they all tweeted how White had lost his job to Dean anyway--something none of them had previously reported! One of them, Jeff McLane, did hint at it, so it may be true, but the timing seems awfully suspicious. It's very clear to many people, not just me, that they are being fed this misinformation by the Eagles.

I can't bring myself to do it, but my work friend who is a big Browns fan advises to bet the house on Dallas this week, saying the Browns are a mess at QB and it is not even clear that Watson can throw well right now. I get that but I can't bet on Dallas.

England is only like 5 hours ahead of me. They won’t need to start all the games early when there is a whole division.

No reason to not have European PrimeTime games once it’s not a gimmick. 1pm Eastern kickoff would only be six there.

I think an NFC East foe must have picked this picture as the one to use

A team with a top 3 OL, 2 top 20 WRs, and a franchise QB shouldn't struggle against the blitz in the slightest
