Interesting. Is it purely a strategy position or will it be too different for him to have the same result? NBA franchises are easily affected by hitting on a few players; not so much in the NFL.

It helps if you do not have to pay so much to much of the team on year 1 or year 2 of their contracts

sounds like you need to fire your GM.
you didnt get better because you kept all your draft picks.
You got better because your GM was to strapped to make any key decisions.
Maybe it also helps to get rid of the diva Qb too

What happened to Denver at Seattle?

And best of all - Rodgers' Jets v Packers in the Super Bowl?

Packers GM (Gutey) long term tenure is tied to Jordon Love becoming the next franchise QB in Green Bay.... right now I think his job is pretty safe despite not handling the pick very well at that time.

In hindsight his 2 biggest errors now may be holding on to Rodgers 1 year too many and Bakhtiari contract has not worked out due to injury and both really hurt Packers salary cap... but that is hindsight and easy to critique now.

I do think Gutey did good job in both 2022 and 2023 drafts.... 2021 not so much.

That turf has been freaking brutal. Somebody should tally up all the games injuries on that turf has cost players.
