Bad faith from you. I already gave you the answer.

Did the Niners rest Purdy week 12, why not?
What are you talking about? A post was made saying do we really need a Week 18, (17th game), and listing back-up QBs playing. My response was that it's increasingly normal for teams to pull starters in last day meaningless games and that it's better to lose 1/17 of the season to this phenomena than 1/16 or 1/12. 15+ years ago I don't remember it happening in the NFL. It happened in other sports, especially in Europe. You then posted about QB injuries and a 12 game season. Not really anything to do with my post. It was your argument not mine. I just responded with data on how many teams lost QBs by the 12th game or decided to make a change. whatever.

You brought up 12. You can't even follow the discussion.

I'll educate you anyway:

The Niners didn't rest Purdy in week 12 because the game mattered. The less there are the more they matter.

Really? This is your idea of a discussion post? 1 more Eagles fan for the list.

name one not on the list.

I'll wait
I have a long ignore list from way back but most of them ended up being banned by Hammerdown anyway. PE1 got on there for being too much hard work to read. RTK only got on the list when he finally went off the deep end circa March '23. I think they were the only 2. I know you don't get on with them and I understand why.

Sorry. Now I get what you were saying. I misunderstood your earlier post.

This would still happen if the NFL only played 12 games.
I think it would be much more rare in a 12 game season since you have less games to jump ahead by more than a game.
Meaning I would think most games still matter in the final week of a 12 game season vs. an 18 week season.

I'm not surprised by the Rams number. Hoecht should not be an NFL starting edge. Young has had moments, but they've left that questionable secondary even more exposed with limited edge pressure. They have the 4th fewest sacks this season, and that's with solid #s from Turner and Donald on the interior.

Packers at Dallas... will be the 9th meeting and move into tie with most times teams met in playoffs.

Could have teams meet 10 times since 49ers, Dallas, LAR and Green Bay all in on NFC side.
- If GB wins they would play SF for 10th time
- Dallas and SF would have to meet in NFCG for 10th game
- Dallas and LAR would also have to meet in NFCG for 10th game
