here,s hoping they let him pick the new coach. The Commies have a GM
glad i don,t live in detroit and love the lions.
Nick Chubb is supposed to be the engine that makes that whole thing go and his leg exploded in what week 2? Then they somehow managed to turn whoever Jerome Ford is into a viable NFL lead back, and then fire the RB coach. And then without Chubb and with Flacco, present day Deshaun Watson, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, and PJ Walker all cycling through multiple starts they managed to piece together a viable NFL offense and then fire the OC.
WTF?
Sometimes change is needed whether you make lemons out of nothing or not. Van Pelt's scheme does not really align with Watson long-term so I think that is the goal here, whatever best suits their QB. Who knows with the RB coach.Nick Chubb is supposed to be the engine that makes that whole thing go and his leg exploded in what week 2? The fact that they got so much out of so little on offense (injuries, ineffectiveness, etc.) speaks to good coaching. Firing all those guys seems like a strange move.Nick Chubb is supposed to be the engine that makes that whole thing go and his leg exploded in what week 2? Sounds like Watson just keeps on screwing the Browns...Sometimes change is needed whether you make lemons out of nothing or not. Van Pelt's scheme does not really align with Watson long-term so I think that is the goal here, whatever best suits their QB. Who knows with the RB coach.
Disclaimer: This isn't a shot at you Browns fans on here so don't take it personal. I think you guys are cool but it's more of an observation on Karma and the football gods giving the middle finger to your owner.
Now as I watched the games this past weekend and have had time to digest it all, I have to wonder what Haslem was thinking as he watched his team get curb stomped by the Texans who he gave up so much to for Watson. Not only that but the Texans continuing to reap the benefits of that deal.
Then a couple days later watches Baker Mayfield boat race the defending NFC champs ( albeit a team in an epic, historical meltdown) . And not only that but be the only Bucs QB ever to have 300+ yds and 3 TDs in a play-off game.
If that was the case why did they hire this OC in the first place?Sometimes change is needed whether you make lemons out of nothing or not. Van Pelt's scheme does not really align with Watson long-term so I think that is the goal here, whatever best suits their QB. Who knows with the RB coach.
