No one will be talking Rodgers or Luck, or any other QB, in the 1st round.

Given how this year has gone maybe nobody will take any RBs either.

Elway will trot noodle arm out there again some time soon, and MAYBE they'll pull out a couple more W's.

Elway knew when to hang 'em up. I imagine it's even easier to see it in somebody else.

Probably the question is whether Elway thinks a rested/healed Peyton is still a better option, even if he isn't a good option.

And I don't even think it's as much a physical consideration as a mental one. You can live with a physically limited Peyton if he's making good decisions and taking care of the ball if your D is dominant. If Peyton keeps making bad decisions you kind of have to go with an inexperienced Osweiler. But you shouldn't have to. Elway just needs to smack Peyton's big ol' noggin and say, "You're not Peyton Manning any more; you're a limited old man at the end of your career and you need to play that way. You're smart enough to do it so do it."

The advantage of Elway being Elway is he's one of the few people on the planet who could have that conversation.

Fair choice. (By game manager I guess you mean executing the plan, making good decisions, understanding the game situation, taking care of the ball.)

Obviously he's a top candidate for best QB ever period. If you subtract out improvisers and bombers it thins the field even more.

Brady is giving him a run for his money, but I think Montana had a little better leadership skills. All-time great coaches loom large behind both of them.

Little early to speculate about next year, but has anyone noticed how Charcandrick West seems to fit into ol' Andy's "system", whatever that may be? Haven't looked at numbers or anything, but he sure seems to be giving West the ball a helluva lot more than he gave it to Charles.

Glad to have turned Bennett into Eifert in our dynasty, even at the expense of West, but yeah... certainly didn't expect this.

I think if the Bills are going to be competitive in this game they need a big outing from Watkins. The Philly offense is hit or miss right now. I've been streaming Matthews with almost zero success this season. He's too hard to predict!
