Need some advice with my QB choice this week in one of my leagues...

Currently rostered:
Wilson (ARI)
Taylor (@NYJ)

Waivers (in order of nfl.com projection):
Flacco (JAC)
McCown (@PIT)
Foles (CHI)
Bridewater (@OAK)
Cutler (@STL)
A Smith (@DEN)
Hoyer (@CIN)
Jones (CLE)
Cassel (@TB)
Bradford (MIA)

Who would you go with? Wilson is the highest projected out of these options but against a difficult matchup. Both teams coming off bye. Flacco has an easier matchup, but they just lost Smith Sr.

Scoring setup for QBs:
Passing Yards: 1 point per 15 yards
Passing Touchdowns: 6 points
Interceptions Thrown: -3 points
300-399 Passing Yards Bonus: 5 points
400+ Passing Yards Bonus: 10 points
Rushing Yards: 1 point per 5 yards
Rushing Touchdowns: 6 points

Either way, I don't think you need to make a transaction.

Yea he could have a good game. But the Cards are coming off a bye too in the same situation. That's going to be one helluva physical game.

I just looked up recent stats for QBs that have faced the Jets...
Bortles (@NYJ)... 381yds 2 TDs, 2 INTs & 1 F for a total of 24 pts.
Carr (NYJ)... 333yds 4 TDs, for 37 pts.
Brady (NYJ)... 355yds 2 TDs, 33 pts.

Starting Taylor seems like a great idea when you look at those stats.

Not sure if anyone has talked about it yet... But what's everyone's take on the NE backfield this week? Aside from Blount that is.

Basically I'm asking who is more worthy of the pickup: White or Bolden.

Reason I ask is... Last time Lewis got injured, Bolden was injured as well. So White got the job by default. Now that Bolden is healthy.. Does he get a slice of that pie?

Something tells me that Bolden's experience will get him more totes than White. Just a hunch at the moment. But you're probably right.

Mike Pettine is a moron. Can't even put together a respectable defense... which is supposed to be his bread and butter. Then has the audacity to critique the QB situation?

There is absolutely no reason to play (but especially rush back) McCown. Does he think a five win season saves his job? You have to see if Manziel has anything, any kind of progress. But that's not the dumb part. It's the way he talks about it. Who does he think he's talking to? Does he think the Browns fan base are six years old? Talking about best chance to win? LOL

Todd Gurley may be the top pick of the RB.
Antonio Brown & ODB may be the top 2 picks of the WR.

I'll bet they have their best game of the season, offensively, next week with Brock at QB. D's will no longer be able to simply ignore the deep ball, or the sidelines, it'll open up everything underneath, and the running lanes will magically appear. If Kub's actually does have control of that team, Manning won't be breaking the all time wins record unless he plays somewhere else next year, Even though the Donkeys likely finish 12-3 with Brock ROS . If he doesn't, Elway will trot noodle arm out there again some time soon, and MAYBE they'll pull out a couple more W's.

That and the fact that the VD jokes are pretty well played out, I think. Brock is gonna be interesting.
