Not sure i agree with that since most preseason offenses are historically vanilla. No HC or OC wants to tip their hand.

Reports out of camps have been more revealing as to usage, reps, etc.

Sometimes I look at highlight. There are a few things of interest but it depends a lot on circumstances. Javonte Williams looking explosive is meaningful, for example. (Though so did McLaughlin.) Caleb Williams finding Odunze twice after scrambling (though one didn't count) bodes well for that relationship.

Anybody got any legit news or insight on how long Hockenson will be out? Thinking about drafting him late and stashing him on the IR slot. He's on PUP now and if he stays on it, he'll miss at least 4 games. But its gonna be like Thanksgiving before he comes back, its not really worth it to do this.

I’d still feel fine about drafting him as my first TE. Knowing I’ll stream for 5-6 six weeks, or even take another TE who could be worth keeping too once Hock is back.

No legit news though. Sorry.

PFR says he scored 73 pts in 4 games, so 18.25

obviously it dpends on your scoring system. But I'm not exactly impressed.
2 games at 200-225 yards, 2 games below 100, and 3 scores.

his rushing numbers were stupid with 5 scores in 4 games, but they also got him killed, so it doesn't really matter much. You bank on a QB whose rushing numbers are his 'claim to fame', you're only waiting for the inevitable to happen, unless his name is Josh Allen. You can claim Lamar, but he's only played one full season in his career (last year- inactive wk 17, but not hurt)

Taking him early, his downside could conversely be catpstrophic.
