something to consider across your leagues as teams prepare for their first bye week:
- Chargers went up multiple scores early on Raiders and didn't air it out at all yesterday (Herbert went 13/24 for 167yds, was avg ~30/40 for 300 over the 1st 3wks)
- Palmer led the team with 8 targets, was only WR to see more than 5, and none of them had more than 3rec on the night
- Chargers are on bye next week, so there's a chance people might bail on Quentin Johnston

I think he's still worth a STRONG stash to see how things shake out those first few weeks after the bye. Rookie that was considered more raw than some of the other 1st round WR talent in this draft, so the bye week might really help him transition to figuring it out.

If his usage rates aren't improving, then go ahead and cut bait and move on to the next lotto ticket. Palmer seems more like a redundant chain mover to Allen, who is one of, if not the best, chain moving WR in the league. LAC could make it work with those two, but I think Kellen Moore will try to get QJ integrated a bit more in weeks 6-8 (DAL, KC, CHI....if he can't get it going vs da Bears, he sucks), where I assume Herbert will be attempting more than 25 passes, at least those first 2 weeks.

Well said. I could have never written it all so eloquently. I agree with all of it.

But part of me (and I'm damaged by Reagor's utter failure) is thinking TCU might only make worthless receivers.

I'm still holding for all the reasons you suggest. Could be big things down the stretch. I don't see much upside plays on the waiver wire and I can always find fill-ins even in a deep league.

Out of about ten leagues, I only face DJ Moore in one..which thus far hasn't been the case. I faced CMAC in multiple last week, Mostert in multiple league the week before that, and Reek Hill in multiple leagues the weeks before that . Was begining to feel like a magnet for big days form most opponents regardless of matchups
