Mostert had 11 yards on his first carry and then went off the field for the rest of the first quarter.

Sucks (mostert owner myself), but it made sense with the way the game was. Detroit apparently didn't field any secondary players because Hill and Waddle were running free all game. Why bother running?

I finally bench Najee.
Mostert has a great matchup.

At the half: Mostert has 12 yards rushing … and was the correct call (so far)!

Najee has 7 yards. :drink:
My biggest disappointment so far: Najee. Wow he has been awful.

He was my fucking keeper in a redraft money league. Disgusting

A number of RB's swapping homes today - - not sure whether it help or hurts any of them. Edmonds to DEN (perhaps this yr), Hines to BUF (??), J. Wilson to MIA (?? other than MIA obviously viewed Edmonds as a mistake), Moss to IND (???) - oh, and WR Claypool to CHI (one shit-show to another)

Dolphins acquired Jeff Wilson from the 49ers for a 2023 fifth-round pick.

Wilson fell into a lead role for the 49ers after Elijah Mitchell went down in Week 1 against the Bears. Wilson has rushed 92 times for 468 yards and two touchdowns, averaging a career-high 5.1 YPC through eight weeks. He took a back seat to Christian McCaffrey after the 49ers acquired McCaffrey in a trade on October 20th. Wilson heading to Miami reunites him with head coach Mike McDaniel and running back Raheem Mostert after the three spent the last several seasons together in San Francisco. With Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed as the only two running backs on the roster, Wilson has a chance to serve as the immediate backup to Mostert, and would have top-24 upside should Mostert ever miss time.

Redraft I assume?

Depending on the rest of your makeup and who is being added, in general, I would say yes.
yeah redraft. Hes had 5 consecutive crap weeks. My starters are strong as can be, bench is useable. But with byes, its either play him this week or grab someone like caleb huntley, brandon cooks, terrence marshall, alec pierce,

Pierce for me outta that group...however I don't have much faith that any of them have any better odds at a handful of points than London does

Averaging 6.1 pts per game. Now that the film is out on him, & even Mariota, he'll have a tough time finding the same level of success as he did earlier in the season... His schedule looks favorable though. Just don't have a lot of confidence in him.

I'd rather have Cooks or Pierce

another vote for Cooks or Pierce over London over here
Cooks hasnt been good. But i was leaning him. Pierce just scares me with the qb change, but may work in his benefit

also an OC change now too. possibly the interim OC pushes the ball down the field a little more aggressively??

Ironically, it was Indy's rushing game that was the problem, not their passing game.

Colts:
30th in ppg (16.1)
15th in total offense (4th in tot passing yds, 27th in tot rushing yds)
18th in ypg (339.4)
16th in 3rd dwn completion % (40.4%)
17th in yards per pass att (6.9)
29th in rush yds per att (3.7)

Devil is in the details on those numbers though. Key in on that yards per attempt, and who is getting those receptions. Approximately %50 of the completions are going to RB's and TE's, leaving Pittman, Peirce and Campbell to split the remaining %50 and those aren't being pushed downfield either. Pittman's long on the year is 28 yards, he should be getting at least that or more once a game, not once thus far in 8 games (7 for him I guess).
Plus they've played two overtime games which gives them roughly 2 more quarters worth of plays than some teams, and have been trailing often, so a lot of that yardage was garbage dump offs vs prevents.

You look at aDOT numbers, and you've got to go way down the list before you find one of the starting Colts receivers.

Which, big picture wise..if you can press the safeties downfield, and force the LB's to at least think about maybe needing to drift back into coverage rather than stay right around that 10 yard depth, they'll be less likely to be crashing the box and stuffing your run game, which floats all boats. That's a pretty quick, simple, black and white reason as to why they canned the OC
