I’m the worst team in this dynasty league and I got offerred Aiyuk and a 5th for Godwin. I think I should counter but not sure.

Tough call

Godwin will be 27 by end of the season, so he's right at that edge of where you could still get max value out of him.

Problem is, his max value is kinda in the gutter ATM.

Then there's the short term future- If Brady can't get this turned around does he finally say F-it? And then what? Do they go with their current backup(s), draft a rookie and throw him to the wolves? Pull off a big time trade? Worked for the Rams, not so much for the Broncos..hard to get a true dynasty value on Godwin.

To me, Aiyuk and a #5 ain't getting it done. But, I also have zero faith in Aiyuk developing into anything more than depth asset. I would shoot for Claypool, who i do have hopes of evenrually being a weekly flex starter/WR2 ....or maybe Aiyuk and at least a third if you think he's got decent potential.

I think Godwin is worth more and I am not too big on Aiyuk, so I probably would not be interested. But if I was, I like the strategy of using draft picks and IDPs to even out the difference. Maybe Antione Winfield and Aiyuk?

Is there a keeper limit in this dynasty? Or do you keep everyone?

Aiyuk is gonna be good for a long time, imo. Godwin might be pretty pedestrian when Brady hangs ‘em up (and kind of is pedestrian atm anyway).

You're in a deep hole and a 5th won't help you. IMO you need firsts and seconds, not middling spot starters like Aiyuk.

No keeper limit. I doubt a 5th makes a difference, it adds pretty much no value. Either adding in an IDP or shooting for another player might be my best bet

Just thinking, you have Carter so it fits. That may be too much for him, but you could add a piece.

Thing is, changing Godwin to Aiyuk doesn’t really do anything for you (as you know). Maybe just up the draft pick to a 2nd? Or I like Femurov’s idea of Winfield (maybe with Mattison).

Lots of options, but remember, he’s the one that wants to deal.

Yeah he didn’t have any draft picks for ‘23 better than a 5th or I would have grabbed one.

I ended up gettinv Aiyuk, Mattison and a 5th. Not bad

With all of these injuries.... we see an uptick in weekly plug-in players... then after the weekend, you see a mass purge as the weekly plugins are cut for the next flavor of the week.

Might be more advantageous to trade for the injured guy. Long term.

I love pivoting from flex play to flex play and churning the bottom few roster spots weekly to try to catch lightning in a bottle, never know who will get dropped as well, someone dropped Foreman yesterday to add Toney in one of my redraft leagues. Hope no one else notices and puts a claim in!
