Lions should be looking at Nebraska kicker Brett Maher. He is a solid punter and he can kick FG's/kickoffs. All around good leg. I know we have kickalicious but a punter who can boot FGs is extra nice.

If we can get him with one of those 7th rounders we got, or even as a UDFA, I'd be all about adding him.

We can have 90 guys on the roster for training camp, so why not have 5 or 6 punters and/or kickers competing for the job? Plus, every guy we sign will make it that much harder for Akers to make the team...

also, RUGLAND, RUGLAND, RUGLAND. He should be our kicker for the next decade. Lets face it, all kickers are gonna miss some. At least have a kicker thats a bauss. Hes 6'4'' 250. He could also play OLB for us
